Building Faith about Entering and Abiding in the Presence of God by Receiving Heaven, HERE, Like a Child
…Hear this heart! I don’t have to work at it until I deserve the Holy Spirit. God is not selfish like people. He doesn’t hold back. I don’t have to stay living in the darkness of this world because, when I trust by faith His radiance is on me, I have fellowship with Him, and the blood of Christ washes away anything that is evil 1 John 1:5, 7). Even when I ask for forgiveness, God gives me more of His Spirit as He washes me clean (1 John 1:9).
…Heart, let yourself believe the truth. God is my friend! I can ALWAYS receive more of the Holy Spirit because “…He gives the Spirit without measure” (John 3:34). I only have to trust with childlike faith I have “…come to the waters…[and] delight yourself in abundance” (Isa. 55:1,2).
…I make these declarations to direct my heart into greater childlike enjoyment and faith about the goodness of God and His drawing near to me as my strong refuge: “…the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Ps 36:7-9).
…Heart, don’t wait until you think you deserve to enter and stand before God. Put the right clothes on by trusting that Christ is in you AND by believing that God is washing your body as you trust that you are entering to come before Him. Then feast on the presence of God here and now. …Heart, believe that “…we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…let us draw near…in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean…and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19, 22).
Heart, God is a radiant fountain of the Holy Spirit. And because of the radiance that shines from Him (John 7:39), I can drink from God. By this, God draws near to me here and becomes my refuge (Ps. 36:7-9; James 4:8). Heart, God is my friend! I set my heart to enjoy that “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14); “…it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all…” (Rom. 4:16).
…Heart, think of God as my friend! Turn away from fear about whether God is able or willing to quench my spiritual thirst. The truth is that God has promised to be God to me HERE! Anything else is idolatry. God has made an “…everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants…” (Gen. 17:7; and also Gal. 3:29). So, believe that God IS always ready to draw near because He never stops being a fountain that graciously gushes His glorious presence. BELIEVE you have drawn near to the fountain of God, and He WILL draw near to you…
…I am telling my heart to “…have confidence to enter the holy place…” (Heb. 10:19); I set my heart to “…seek first His kingdom and His righteousness…” (Matt. 6:33) and I determine with joy that I will believe “…we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken…” (Heb. 12:28).
…Heart, it is right to believe that God is here, that Heaven is all around me, and that the demonic realm is under my physical feet. Hear it again, “…we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3:12). The finished work of Christ paid for it all.

…Heart, believe, and love that because Christ IS my savior, I have the acceptance of God. And, Jesus “…Christ… died…so that He might bring us to God…” (1Pet 3:18); and, “…through Him we… have… access…to the Father” (Eph. 2:18); “…we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3:12). It also says to “Draw near to God and He will draw near to [me]…” (James 4:8).
…Heart, By taking refuge IN the presence of God coming to me as my refuge, God says that I possess His Kingdom here. I should be confident that “he who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13), and the mountain of God is the rock that “comes down from above” (James 1:17) and crushes evil in the world around me (Dan. 2:35, 44-45). And, heart, God’s word is true!
…I draw near to God and enter before Him by receiving His Kingdom all around me here because “…whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all” (Mark 10:15).
…Heart, can abide in Christ by believing with freedom and joy that because of the glorification of Christ, the Spirit of God is coming to me continuously. Believe it because Jesus said, “…I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you…” (Luke 24:49); and, “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14).
…By faith I, “…set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken” (Psa. 16:8). Loving the presence of God as my protection, security, and strength helps me to stay in His presence instead of wanting to turn away from Him; “Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You” (Ps. 119:11). So I thank You, God, that I don’t have to go after idolatry and sin. It is the nearness of Your purity and holiness that I treasure!
…Heart, rejoice your way into BELIEVING the truth. God does come to me, bringing the kingdom of Heaven all around me HERE. God says that, “My dwelling place…will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people” (Ezek. 37:27); And, “I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people” (Lev. 26:12); “…Behold …God…He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them’“ (Rev. 21:3); Heart, all through the Bible God says it over and over: “…I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (2 Cor 6:16). Thank You, God, that when I receive Heaven, here, Jesus walks with me (Heb. 12:22-24, 28)!
…Because “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14), and Jesus said, “How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?” (John 5:44), I set my heart to turn from faith in earthly glory so I can believe God for His glory given freely by His grace.
…Heart, embrace that I must have clean hands and a pure heart to “ascend the hill of the Lord” (Ps. 24:3-4). So, by faith, I am presenting my physical body (Rom. 12:1) to God by trusting that He is drawing near to me here so He can wash my heart and “hands” clean (James 4:8). I am boldly turning my heart to treasure the truth so I can “…have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…[and] draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19, 22).
MORE
…Thank You, God, that by faith in Jesus (Eph. 3:12), I can enter before You by trusting You are drawing near to me and are washing me holy and clean enough to abide in Your presence! Heart, “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matt. 13:44). So, I turn my heart to treasure receiving the kingdom and possessing it, like a child (Mark 10:15; Matt. 19:14).
…Heart, embrace with joy that even from early in the Bible, and though we are all at different stages, God’s plan for all of us in this life, has been the same: “You will bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, / The place, O Lord, which You have made for Your dwelling, / The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established” (Exo. 15:17). Thank You, God, that You are doing this with us!
…Heart, “…the LORD God is a sun and shield; / The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Ps. 84:11). Thank You, God, that You give grace and glory so that Your presence can be a shield of Light around me that when I treasure the glory and power of it more than my sin, Your nearness helps me avoid lust (Rom 13:12,14) and “walk uprightly.”
…Heart, be confident about God drawing near! I CAN abide in Christ (John 15:4) by getting my heart to joyfully believe that I am entering the holy place (Heb. 10:19-22) so I can stand before the Lord as a kingdom priest (Rev. 5:10). Let yourself believe with joy and “gratitude” that the mountain of God, angels, and Heaven (Heb. 12:22-24, 28) are coming down (James 1:17) upon and around me here.
…Heart, I am directing my heart to embrace the truth in God’s Word because “…he who comes to God must believe…that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Heb. 11:6). So, the task before me is to direct my heart (1 Sam. 7:3) away from what I drink from through idolatry and into faith with enough intentional freedom to “delight” myself in being able to trade the glory of the world for an “abundance” (Isa. 55:1-2) of God’s radiant glory coming to me here.
…Like King David, I CAN satisfy my thirsty need for God’s presence. Like David, I am turning my heart to believe I can drink from God by intentionally listening to myself as I declare with joy that “…You are my God…My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You…Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory…My soul is satisfied… (Psa. 63:1-2, 5).
…Thank You, God, that when I become childlike enough in my faith to take refuge in You by opening up to receive Heaven here, I get to “possess” the mountain of God (Isa. 57:13) and the kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 19:14).
…Heart, by humbling myself from pride in earthly glory (John 5:44), I get to drink from the radiance around God, receive the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17) as the Helper (John 16:7), and as the “armor of light” that, when I nourish loving the power and glory of the armor more than my sin, the armor gets strong, and I can avoid lust (Rom. 13:12, 14): “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; / The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Ps. 84:11).
MORE
…Heart, Jesus says I should drink from Him; “But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified” (John 7:37-39). So, I am determined to get myself to believe the truth in the Word of God because I can only drink from God and receive His Spirit’s presence when I believe the glory and power of His radiance is on me (Gal. 3:14; Ps. 63:1-2, 5).
…I set my heart to treasure the written Word of God. I CAN drink from the radiance around God when I believe in Jesus as the “Scriptures describe” Him (John 7:37-39). And, “This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear” (Acts 2:32-33).
…Heart, now that Jesus has been glorified by receiving from the Father the promise of the Spirit (Acts 2:38), Jesus has become “…the radiance of [the Father’s] glory…” (Heb. 1:2,3). Jesus is pouring out the Spirit of the Father through Himself continually “…the Spirit…who proceeds from the Father…” (John 15:26). Heart, God is a powerfully radiant “…fountain of living water…” (Jer. 17:13). And, when Jesus spoke of drinking from Him, He was talking about receiving the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39) who shines from Him.
…Heart, let yourself treasure the truth about Jesus shining with the Father’s glory: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; / The LORD gives grace and glory; / No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Ps. 84:11). So, I am humbling myself from pride and human glory by trusting with bold faith where it says, “…come to the waters…delight yourself in abundance” (Isa. 55:1,2).
…I am directing my heart away from fear and pride. I am giving my heart reasons to believe joyfully with playfully childlike faith. I am telling myself to treasure the written Word of God, which says, “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Ps 36:7-9).
…Heart, let yourself enjoy believing that when Heaven comes, God sanctifies me as He draws near (Acts 26:18; Rom 15:16; Heb. 10:19-22). By this, God says, “…the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever” (Eze 37:28).
…Heart, treasure the truth that “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark” (Psa. 91:1-4). Thank You, God, for this wonderful truth!

…Heart, God says, “I…will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people” (Eze 37:26-27). So, by directing my heart away from idolatry and toward making God my God, I find more and more freedom to open up with joyful faith that I am receiving the kingdom of Heaven upon and around me here (Mark 10:15). Heart, the heavenly sanctuary of God comes when I believe I am entering the holy place (Heb. 10:19-22) so I can present my body to God (Rom. 12:1).
…Thank You, God, that Heaven comes down in fullness at the end of the Bible as “the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God…” (Rev. 3:12); “I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them (Rev, 21:2-3).
…Thank You, God, that “…indeed, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD” (NUM. 14:21). Thank You, God, that I can do my part in filling the earth with Your glory, by making You and Your kingdom my refuge because “he who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13).
… Heart, treasure the truth that as I enter the holy place by receiving the kingdom with the faith of a child (Heb. 10:19-22; Mark 10:15), it says later that “…you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus…Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude…” (Heb. 12:22-24, 28).
…Heart, I receive the heavenly Jerusalem, the mountain of God, the kingdom of Heaven, and angels into this realm with gratitude and faith that I am taking refuge in the Lord by His drawing near (Ps. 36:7-9). I must believe I am receiving the kingdom here because “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14), and “…the kingdom of God is…righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 14:17).
…I repent of self-protection and disbelief because “…whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all” (Mark 10:15); “…the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matt. 19:14) and “he who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13).
…Thank You, God, that when I direct my heart away from loving the twisted glory of sin and the world, I can abide in the radiance that shines from You. And, You say to me, “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name” (Rev. 3:12).
MORE
…Heart, I am directing my heart away from faith in the idolatrous glory of the world (John 5:44). I am directing my heart toward greater freedom and faith so that I can come to the Lord and enter before Him by receiving the mountain of God and the Kingdom of Heaven with the gratitude of a child because, “…since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude…” (Heb. 12:22-24, 28).
…Heart, “Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:11). Even so, I still must seek (Matt. 6:33) and receive His kingdom so that God is free to do His will on earth as it is in Heaven (Matt. 6:10). And when I do my part, as a kingdom priest who stands before the Lord (Rev. 5:10; 2 Chron. 29:11), “There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace…” (Isa. 9:6-7). So, heart, let yourself believe you are opening up to God so you can receive the kingdom of Heaven coming down (James 1:17); “…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense” (2 Chron. 29:11).
…Heart, I am turning my heart from earthly glory and power so I can better believe God (John 5:44) and receive the mountain of God and His kingdom while praising His nearness with gratitude (Heb. 12:19-22, 28). Heart, God is “…enthroned upon the praises…” of His people (Ps. 22:3). By praising the nearness of God for His coming to me, the government of God on earth increases (Isa 9:7; Matt. 6:10).
…Heart, be confident about coming before the Father HERE because I enter by receiving the kingdom here, “…through Him we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2:18); And, “Jesus said…no one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6); therefore, I will let myself “…have confidence to enter the holy place…” (Heb. 10:19). And, since “…we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe” (Heb. 12:28). (pause to love and enjoy the truth!)
…Heart, Jesus “…has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father…” (Rev. 1:6). So I am a priest who is commanded, and able, to stand before the Lord here because the Bible says, “…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29:11).
…Heart, “God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (2 Cor. 6:16). This promise includes me!
…Heart, be confident about standing HERE before the Lord because “…the Lord said to Moses, “…Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb…” (Exo. 17:5,6). And also because “Elijah said, “As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand…” (1 Kings 18:15). And “Elisha said, ‘A’s the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look at you nor see you” (2 Kings 3:14). And Paul wrote that “…the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished…” (2 Ti 4:17).
MORE
…Heart, I am directing my heart to be confident about receiving the kingdom of Heaven here “with gratitude” because the” heavenly Jerusalem” we “receive” with “gratitude” now (Heb. 12:22-24, 28), is the same as the “New Jerusalem” that will come down in greater fullness later: “I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them” (Rev, 21:2-3).
…Heart, hear this, and enjoy that I am doing an eternally significant thing by receiving the Kingdom of Heaven like a child. Heart, “the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from God…” (Rev. 3:12), is the same as what God says I should “receive” with “gratitude” (Heb. 12:22-24, 28) in greater and increasing measure as time goes on.
…Heart, listen to what I am saying when I thank God that I can treasure the nearness of His heavenly kingdom: “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matt. 13:44). For “…where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Mat. 6:21).
…I repent of disbelief and am determined to be encouraged about abiding in God’s presence before Him because God says, “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name” (Rev. 3:12).
…Thank You, God, for salvation that lets me spend eternity with You in Heaven after I die. Thank You, God, that I can be with You here before I die also!
…Heart, I must let myself open up to God with faith for receiving from Him because “…Those who turn away on earth will be written down, / Because they have forsaken the fountain of living water, even the LORD” (Jer. 17:13).
…Thank You, God, that I can enter the holy place (Heb. 10:19-22) by receiving the kingdom of Heaven like a child who loves finding refuge in their favorite blanket. It is proper for me to believe and treasure about entering before the Lord by opening up like a child with joy and faith about God being my refuge because Jesus said, “…whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all” (Mark 10:15); and, “…do not hinder [the children] from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matt. 19:14); “the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Psa. 36:7-9); “he who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13).
MORE
…Thank You God that I can enter the throne room in Heaven now with the gratitude and faith of a child by boldly trusting that You are bringing Heaven to me here so that You can make my humanity holy: “By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy” (Lev 10:3); and, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart…” (Ps. 24:3-4). So I thank You, God, that You say to us, “…I am the Lord who sanctifies you” (Lev 22:32).
…I repent of fear by changing my mind through thanks and praise for the truth that when I believe the presence of God is coming to me (Gal. 3:14), I enter the holy place, and God washes my conscience and body clean (Heb 10:19-22).
…Thank You, God, that “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth” (Rev. 5:10). And, speaking even to me as a priest, it says, “. .do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29:11).
…Heart, Jesus told us to pray that His kingdom would come (Matt. 6:33: Matt. 6:10), and whatever we pray, we are to believe that we have received (Mark 11:24). So, when I draw near to God and trust I am coming before the Lord, God is drawing near to me with His heavenly kingdom because “…we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude” (Heb. 12:22-24, 28).
…I am turning my heart to be confident about Heaven coming here and that I am to present my body before God (Rom. 12:1); it is “…through [Jesus] we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2:18); “…we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3:12).
…Heart, God says, “draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts…” (James 4:8). So, I set my heart to trust that the radiant and holy Light around God is the Holy Spirit (John 7:39), and when I open up and “delight” myself in the “abundance” that pours out from God and upon me here, He is trust washing me clean (1 John 1:5, 7).
…I am telling my heart to treasure the truth that when by confident faith, I draw near to God by trusting that He is drawing near to me here, I enter the dwelling place of God and am presenting my body before Him as a kingdom priest (1 Chron. 29:11; Rev. 5:10).
…I am directing my heart away from idolatry (1 Sam. 7:3) and into confident faith about receiving the holy place in Heaven upon and around me here. Heart, “…we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus. . .having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19-22).
… (Your Name) , listen to what you are saying. Let yourself believe, love, and be thankful for the truth! I am removing obstacles of fear and disbelief about God’s presence by declarations that get my heart to believe the truth about God and His kingdom coming to me here.
MORE
…Heart, listen and believe it when I thank God that because of the cleansing power of the holiness that He is shining onto me, I can “…present [my body]…acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship” (Rom 12:1). I CAN “walk in the Light” (1 John 1:5, 7) that shines from Him onto my physical humanity.
…Heart, I must let myself open up to God with faith for receiving from Him because “…Those who turn away on earth will be written down, / Because they have forsaken the fountain of living water, even the LORD” (Jer. 17:13). “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
…Heart, God says to me, “you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). And, because Jesus has been glorified (John 7:39), the river of His Spirit flows through me when I enjoy with bold faith that I am walking in God’s “marvelous light” upon me here. And, since “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14), it is as I trust that God is shining His presence onto me that He washes the darkness in the world off of my physical body here.
…Heart, be thankful because Jesus spoke of the “the Helper, the Holy Spirit” (John 14:26) and promised that “…I will send Him to you” (John 16:7). But “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14); and, “…he who comes to God must believe…that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Heb. 11:6). So, I set my heart to treasure these truths and trust that Jesus is sending the Helper to me by the radiance of His Spirit that shines from Him (John 7:39).
…When I take refuge in the sanctuary of God like a child and drink from Him, God satisfies my thirsty soul (Ps. 63:1-2, 5), I become an overcomer (Rev. 3:12), and I walk in “newness of life” by the glory of the Father (Rom. 6:4).
…Thank You, God, that “he who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13), and since the dwelling place of God is on the mountain (Exo. 15:17), it is by becoming childlike enough in my faith to take refuge in the Lord that Heaven comes upon and around me here: “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Ps 36:7-9).
…Thank You, God, that by my faith about Heaven around me as my refuge, I get to abide in “the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God…” (Rev. 3:12; James 1:17).
…Heart, for me to turn from idolatry and sin I have to turn to God and drink from Him. Otherwise, I will keep going back to worldly things and sin. My repentance must change my heart-level thinking so it stays in agreement with the truth about the kingdom of God and drinking from God. By listening to my audible declarations of joyous repentance and faith, I can direct my heart away from idolatry and toward more fully depending on God to draw near so He can be God to me here.

…Heart, treasure believing that I am entering the holy place (Heb. 10:19-22), when in “full assurance of faith, “I trust I am receiving Heaven around me, here, with “gratitude.” So, I repent of disbelief and fear! I am declaring to myself to enjoy like a child that when I trust that God and His kingdom are drawing near to me here, I “…have come to Mount Zion…the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels…and to God…and to Jesus…Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude…” (Heb. 12:22-24, 28).
…I don’t need to find reasons to think highly of myself before I can come to God. Drawing near to God isn’t about faith in me! It is “…access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3: 2). So heart, believe in God’s goodness and grace for your being able to receive His presence freely and in abundance!
…Heart, when I come to God, He does not reject me, and He won’t throw me out (John 6: 7)! I am trusting Christ as my savior AND am trusting Him to wash my body as I draw near (Heb. 10:19-22). Heart, humble yourself into faith because “…the Lord is our righteousness” (Jer. 33:16). The Living God with me is my goodness because “…the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge…” (Psa. 73:28); “I said to the Lord…I have no good besides You” (Psa. 16:2).
…Heart, I don’t have to settle for things the way they always have been. Be confident that God wants to fill my thirsty desires with His presence. Anything else is idolatry, and God wants to be God to me here. So, I can draw near, by trusting Him to come and be my refuge here: “…I have made the Lord God my refuge…” (Psa. 73: 8); “I will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust” (Psa. 91:2)! Heart, the nearness of God and His kingdom are my strong refuge because my God is the Lord of the armies of Heaven and He is my friend.
…Heart, the more I turn my heart away from taking refuge in earthly things, the more freely I can receive His presence and take refuge in Him like a child (Ps. 36:7-9). By cutting off the ways I receive earthly glory for protection, security, worth, and power, I can open up to God with faith in Him to draw near and be God to me in these areas.
…Heart, “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14); and, “How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?” (John 5:44). So, by joyful declarations about the truth in God’s word, I can turn away from sin and idolatry and build faith that gives God the freedom He desires so He can draw near to me freely, instantly, and unhindered.
…I cut off and turn away from feeding myself with self-directed praise to find refuge and protection in pride. Heart, “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons…” 1 Cor. 10:21). So, I turn away from trying to receive glory from the world (John 5:44) and abide in pride! By my joyful declarations of repentance and faith, I am turning my heart toward a greater childlike faith and freedom that lets me drink from God and abide in His presence around me here.
MORE
…Heart, God wants to be God to me by His presence with me as my refuge, strength, and glory. Depending on anything else is idolatry. So, by repentance with joy, I trade my having to earn earthly glory for an “abundance” of the presence of God given freely to me by His grace: “Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance” (Isa. 55:1-2).
…By trading my human glory for His, it frees me to rest into believing I am near to the fountain of God. And since God is my friend, I am able to open up and receive God as my glory, just like I would normally receive glory from earthly things: “…repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19).
…Heart, sin doesn’t have power when the throne room comes and surrounds me with the armor of light (Rom. 13:12-14); when I am playfully enjoying the nearness of God and that His glory is greater than any glory I could ever find from sin, the world, other people, or myself; and, when I receive God’s presence and rest in Him without letting my inner being reach out toward earthly things.
…Instead of the twisted glory and power I could find through sin, I turn my heart to find the reassurance and soothing I need from holding to the closeness of the Holy Spirit touching me all around. Heart, by faith in God to draw near, His glory and power are here and I can satisfy myself with Him like King David did (Ps. 63:1-2, 5)! Instead of the world and the darkness in it touching me all around, I am turning to God and playfully enjoying the closeness of the kingdom of Heaven and the angels that I trust are coming down to me and are around me here.
…Lord, I love that I can feed on You in a way that relates to what I am feeding myself with on a human level: human beauty for the closeness and touch of Your greater beauty; human power for the closeness and the greatness of Your power; human kindness and acceptance for the substance of Your kindness, acceptance, and approval touching me here.
…Heart, no matter how great earthly and human glory feels, God’s glory is greater and more easily received. Rather than earning human glory by self-effort and “works,” I am making declarations that joyfully humble me into bold and confident faith about God’s grace that He will come to me abundantly (Isa. 55:1-2). The truth about God is that He wants to draw near to me instead of my turning to world and trying to receive gory and power from that. So, I am directing my heart to joyfully trust Him to draw near to me by His grace because of His wanting to be God to me, and because of what He wants to accomplish in the earth.
…Instead of being pushed by my falling short (Rom. 3:23), to depend on idolatry and sin, I am turning my heart to love the holiness of God and treasure the presence of His kingdom around me here. I am cutting off the lie that earthly glory and power could every fully satisfy me.
MORE
…Heart, “…we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…draw near…in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19-22). So right now, I am telling my heart to be confident about entering before the Lord by the blood of Jesus.
…I am trusting that I am entering before the Lord and as I come, I am trusting that He is washing my heart and my body with His presence (Heb. 10:19-22).
…I am trusting God to draw near to me because “…he who comes to God must believe…that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Heb. 11 6), and heart, according to this Scripture, the faith that pleases God, believes that He will reward us with His presence when we seek Him!
…Heart, the Holy Spirit is present because of the power of the radiance that thunders onto me from the fountain of God. God is my glory and strength because He shines in all directions.
…I set my heart to find refuge with my whole body inside the kingdom of heaven, trusting that it has come all around me HERE. IT IS WRITTEN, “He who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57: 3). And yes, there are examples in the Bible of people going into heaven during visions, but I thank You, Lord, that for every day, practical abiding, I don’t have to ascend into heaven to bring you down here! “…the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: ‘do not say in your heart, ‘who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)” (Rom. 10:6).
…When I trust I am coming to God, I am trusting Him to bring Heaven around me here, Thank You, God, that You do not reject me and He will NOT throw me out (John 6: 7)! Heart, I have trusted Christ as my savior AND I am trusting Him to wash my body as I draw near by entering the Holy Place before Him with gratitude and praise (Heb. 10:19-22; Heb. 12:22-24, 28; Ps. 100:4). By telling myself to believe about receiving His kingdom so I can present my body to God, my mind is being transformed to enjoy that it is a reasonable act of worship to treasure His presence as He washes my fleshly body “acceptable” (Rom. 12:1-2). (pause to love these truths!)
…God commanded me to abide in Him. I am telling myself to be boldly confident that God will be true to His word and let me drink of the Holy Spirit. Heart, God says, “…I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants; and they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water” (Isa. 44:3,4). And, because “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14), I am telling myself to believe God is pouring out the water of His Spirit onto me here, even now. (pause to enjoy and feel reassured by it!)
…Heart, “He saved us…by the washing…by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior” (Titus 3:5). So, I received the Spirit of Christ onto and into me by faith for cleansing and salvation (Titus 3:5-6). After salvation, I “walk in Him” by continuing to receive the Holy Spirit’s presence in the same way: “…as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him” (Col. 2:6).
MORE
…Heart, God cleansed me with the Holy Spirit for salvation, and I am to walk in His continual cleansing coming down onto me even now: “…walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light…” (1 John 1:7); and, I can walk in Him because “…God is Light…” (1 John 1:5).
…IT IS WRITTEN that I should “…be diligent to enter God’s rest…” (Heb. 4: 1). So, I rest into a confident faith about entering the promise land of God’s heavenly kingdom: “You will bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, / The place, O Lord, which You have made for Your dwelling, / The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established” (Exo. 15:17).
…Heart, it says to “…cling to Him” (Deut. 13 4) “as the waistband clings to the waist of a man” (Jer. 13:11). So, I receive the kingdom like a child taking refuge (Ps. 36:7-9) in the “secret place” that is the dwelling place of God: “One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock” (Psa. 27:1 and 3,4,5).
…More than the kingdom of darkness in the world, I am directing my heart to love the nearness of God and His kingdom. Heart, God says of me that “…you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
…Thank You, God, that by faith I CAN “…put on the armor of light…put on the Lord Jesus Christ…” (Rom. 13:12, 14). I CAN “…walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light…” (1 John 1:7); and “…He wraps himself in light as with a garment;” (Psa. 104:1,2 NIV).
…Heart, God says to all of us that “…as the waistband clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole household of Israel and…of Judah cling to Me,’ declares the Lord, ‘that they might be for Me a people, for renown, for praise and for glory; but they did not listen”. So, I am directing my heart to treasure the truths in the Bible about receiving God’s kingdom like a child (Mark 10:15), standing before the Lord like a priest (1 Chron. 29:11), and “clinging” to the kingdom of heaven and the God’s presence around me here.
…I am directing my heart to love receiving the kingdom of Heaven around me so I can rest the weight of my hands and arms on the “waistband” of God’s presence, like when holding a coat onto me in a wind storm. I am directing my heart to treasure God’s nearness as my refuge, glory, and strength so that I can more naturally receive God’s presence and rest in Him (Jer 13:11).
…I am confident I can embrace the truth and rest into faith for receiving God’s presence here. I set my heart to turn away from pride and self-protection that keeps me in disbelief. Heart, the truth is that shortly after Jesus was resurrected, He was “…exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear” (Acts 2: 3). And, He never stops pouring forth because our God is always a fountain. It is TRUE that “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3: 4). (so, believe with confidence!)
MORE
…Heart, repentance means to change my heart-level thinking so it stays in agreement with the truth about the kingdom of God. Doing that lets me experience God’s presence. By repentance with joy, I trade my having to earn earthly glory to feed my neediness; I also can rest into believing so strongly that it frees me to trust that I am near to the fountain of God, and I can open up and receive God as my glory, just like I would typically receive from earthly things: “…repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19).
…I am confident about coming before the God who is the commander of the armies of Heaven. My soul rests into staying before Him: “…draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb. 4:16); “…we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19, 2). (pause to hear, believe, and love the truth!)
…Heart, “there will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace…To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness…The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this” (Isa. 9:7). Thank You God that by receiving the kingdom of Heaven with gratitude and faith, lets me do my part in helping see Your kingdom come in greater ways (Matt. 6:33; Matt. 6:10).
…Heart, God says to us, “…let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,’ declares the Lord” (Jer. 9:24). He also says we should “…let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amo. 5: 4). So I build my faith by listening to my thanks and praise that turns my heart away from the glory of the world and toward greater faith about the glory of God coming to us here (John 5:44; Ps. 84:11).
…Heart, “…righteousness and justice are the foundation of [God’s] throne” (Psa. 97:2); and, there is a “…a river of the water of life…coming from the throne of God…” (Rev. 22:1). So, I can receive the kingdom, and because of what I receive here with faith, God can exercise the “lovingkindness, justice and righteousness” that He desires (Jer. 9:24). (pause to believe and love that God is doing these things!)
…Heart, believe it when IT IS WRITTEN that “…we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19-22). (pause to hear, believe, and treasure these truths!)
… (Your Name) , “…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29:11). By faith, “I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will dwell securely” (Psa. 16:8,9).
MORE
…Heart, Jesus commanded that I should “…seek first His kingdom and His righteousness…” (Matt. 6: 3). The Bible explains that when I “draw near to God…He will draw near to [me]” (James 4 8). When I come to God, He does not reject me, and He won’t throw me out (John 6: 7)! I have trusted Christ as my savior, and am to trust Him to wash my body as I draw near (Heb. 10:19, 22). Therefore I “…have confidence to enter the holy place…” (Heb. 10:19), and that “…through Him we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2: 8). Lord, I love that the Kingdom of God is HERE because my strong refuge is the presence of God and “He who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57: 3). (pause to let yourself enjoy and be reassured that Jesus and the Father are before me here; angels are all around!)
…To “drink” from God enough to have a river of the Holy Spirit flowing out of me, I must believe in Jesus as the scriptures “describe Him” (John 7:37-39). And because He promises to “walk among” us (2 Cor. 6:16), it is right for me to confidently believe that Jesus is before me just as the Scriptures describe Him: “the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God…a figure with the appearance of a man…and there was a radiance around Him. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance…” (Ezek. 1:1 and 26, 7). By faith in the strength of the radiance around God, I can believe that God is shining His presence onto me here. The Holy Spirit is INTENSELY present because of the power of the radiance that thunders onto me from the fountain of God.
…Heart, in physical realms, the closer we are to a fountain and the more intense the flow from it, determines how wet we get. Because we receive the promise of the Spirit by believing we are receiving, (Gal. 3:14), I can increase how much I can drink from God, by declarations that joyously give reasons to my heart that give me freedom to let my faith grows 1) about the short physical distance between me and God, and 2) with increased faith and “delight” about the intensity and “abundance” of His radiance near me here (Isa. 55:1-2).
…Heart, let yourself enjoy that when John saw into Heaven, “…there was a rainbow around the throne…” (Rev. 4:3); “…a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God…” (Rev. 22:1); “and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal…” (Rev. 4:6); and, in the Old Testament, “…the sea was for the priests to wash in” (2 Chron. 4:6; see also Exo. 30:21).
…Heart, I am determined to get my heart to enjoy believing that “He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father…” (Revelation 1:6) and that, I am to stand before the Lord as a priest like Elijah and Elisha (1 Kings 18:15; 2 Kings 3:14). But even if all I can do right now is trust I am at the doorway into the throne room I am doing well because “…[at] the door of the house…water was flowing from under the threshold…water reaching the ankles” (Ezek. 47:1,3); and, because of the sea before the throne (Rev. 4:6) is for the priests to wash in (2 Chron. 4:6), even if I am only at the doorway into the throne room where the water is ankle deep “…He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean…” (John 13:10).
MORE
…Heart, Jesus is the doorway into the throne room in Heaven (Heb. 10:19-22) and because the Old Testament temple was a copy of what Heaven is like, the doorway for us into the Holy Place in Heaven is consecrated by the glory of the Lord (Exo. 29:42-44). Because the priests were to stay at the doorway for a period of seven days for cleansing (Lev. 8:35), it is reasonable that by faith, I too can stay at the doorway until my fears decrease and I can enter with freedom and faith that lets me joyfully receive God’s presence and kingdom upon and around me here.
…Heart, the Word of God says to “keep yourselves in the love of God…” (Jude 1:21); and, “…God is love, and the one who abides in love, abides in God and God abides in him” (1 John 4:16); “…abide in My love” (John 15:9).
…Thank You, God, that I can enter by receiving the kingdom around me here like a child. And, because of that, I can abide in the substance of Your tangible love around me here: “May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you” (Psa. 33:22 N V).
…Heart, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might” (Deut. 6:5); “For as the waistband clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole household of Israel and…of Judah cling to Me,” declares the Lord, “that they might be for Me a people, for renown, for praise, and for glory; but they did not listen” (Jer. 13:11).
…Even though I don’t understand it fully, the truth is that when I trust I am drawing near to God by receiving the kingdom (Heb. 12:22-24, 28) and by His drawing near to me here (James 4:8), there is a sense in which He is carrying me into the throne room HERE: “like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. The Lord alone guided him, and there was no foreign god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, and he ate the produce of the field; and He made him suck honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty rock” (Deut. 32:11-13).
…I am secure and confident about experiencing God because I am determined to make His presence my safe refuge of power and strength: I am confident because “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Psa. 36:7 9).
…With joyful declarations of repentance and faith, I am telling my heart to enjoy with delight that I am receiving the kingdom of Heaven and presenting my body before God (Rom. 12:1; 1 Chron. 29:11). Heart, “There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High” (Ps. 46 9). Thank You, God, for making me one of Your “holy dwelling places of the Most High.”
…I set my heart to love and treasure staying before the Lord. I am determined to keep believing the kingdom of God is coming to me more and more.
MORE
…Heart, IT IS WRITTEN that I should “…be diligent to enter God’s rest…” (Heb. 4: 1). So, I rest into a confident faith about entering and staying before the Lord. Because of the Scriptures about receiving the kingdom of Heaven like a child and possessing it by taking refuge in the Lord (Isa. 57:13), I trust that Heaven belongs to me more and more (Matt. 19:14). Heart, I am telling myself to turn away from pride that makes me want to earn God’s presence. I am telling myself to enjoy believing the kingdom of Heaven has come and continues to come more and more all around me here. It says, “…cling to Him” (Deut. 13 4). So, I am clinging to the kingdom of Heaven around me by resting the weight of my entire being, like I would hold a coat onto me in a wind storm, by letting the pockets support the weight of my hands and arms.
… (Your Name) , “…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29: 1). I am directing my heart to joyfully believe that the Holy Spirit is coming to me and is INTENSELY present because of the power of the radiance that thunders onto me from the fountain of God. (pause to enjoy the kingdom of heaven all around you h re! Heart, God is here, angels are all around!)
…I am determined to please God. Therefore, I have to drop my self-protection and allow myself to believe that God will me with His presence: “…without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe…that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Heb. 11 6). And, it is my thrill and my delight that the Bible is true when it says, “draw near to God and He will draw near to you…” (Ja. 4:8).
…Heart, Jesus said, “will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you” (John 14:18). So, I submit to this truth; I rest into believing that God brings the kingdom here because, “…the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “o not say in your heart, “ho will ascend into heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down)” (Rom. 10:6 8); and, God says, “My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God…” (Ezek. 37:27). “…I will also walk among you and be your God…” (Lev. 26: 2). (pause to believe and love the God who is close!)
…I should be convinced and confident that the kingdom of God is coming and is increasingly here because by my receiving the kingdom of Heaven like a child, it becomes increasingly true that “…the tabernacle of God is among men…” (Rev. 21 3). Heart, when I receive the kingdom with gratitude and confident faith, God is here, and angels are all around me (Heb. 12:22-24, 28; Heb. 10:22-24)!
…Heart, let yourself be delighted about drinking from God because He is “…the fountain of living water, even the Lord” (Jer. 17: 3). “…come to the waters…delight yourself in abundance” (Isa. 55:1 2). (pause to believe and love the God who is close!)
…I am confident about experiencing the presence of God because He has promised that “My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people” (Ezek. 37:27); Heart, hear and believe that God has promised with an “…everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants…” (Gen. 17:7; and also Gal. 3:29).
MORE
…I am listening to myself when I declare the word of God that says, “…all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you” (Mark 11: 4). So, I turn my heart to believe that I can rest inside the presence of the Living God. (pause to hear, believe, and love the God who is close!)
…I am confident about the promise that I can “…walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light…” (1 John 1 7). And, IT IS WRITTEN that “…He wraps himself in light as with a garment;” (Psa. 104:1,2 N V). So, I trust that I am near, and I rest into being open enough to let myself be wrapped in Your Light because “…God is Light…” (1 John 1:5); so, if by faith “…we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:5,7). (pause to enjoy confidence from the closeness of God’s power and glory!)
…I delight that I can be confident about receiving the presence of God because He wants to pour Himself onto me here: “…Break up your fallow ground…seek the Lord until He comes to rain righteousness on you” (Hos. 10: 2). So, by my declarations I am breaking up the hardness in my heart so I can more easily believe the Word of God and apply it. It is right for me to believe that God will come to me like rain because it says, “… let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; / And He will come to us like the rain…” (Hos. 6:3). (pause to believe God is coming to you and all around you this way!)
…Heart, “…Christ…died for sins…so that He might bring us to God…” (1 Peter 3:18); “…through Him we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2:18); “…we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3:12). So, I set my heart to trust God as my righteousness, and that by His touching me with the Holy Spirit, He is cleansing for my body and the atmosphere around me so I can present even my flesh, “acceptable” before Him here (Rom. 12:1).
…By faith I remove any obstacles of fear or disbelief about my ability to enter freely. Heart, let yourself believe and love that I have trusted Christ as my savior, AND I am trusting Him to wash my body as I draw near (Heb. 10:19, 22). “…the Lord is [my] righteousness” (Jer. 33:16), because Jesus lives in me AND because God washes my body holy as I draw near! So, “…draw near…in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean…and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19, 22).
(Your Name) ,”…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29:11). (pause to enjoy the kingdom of Heaven all around you here! Angels are here!)
…I am fully convinced and confident that I can drink enough of God’s presence for Him to become my strong refuge: “…the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Psa. 36:7 9). (pause to hear, believe, and love the truth!)

…I set my heart to enjoy abiding in the presence of God. I can be confident about being able to experience the presence of God all day long because IT IS WRITTEN that “…they walk in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all the day, and by Your righteousness they are exalted. For You are the glory of their strength…” (Psa. 89:15-17). Heart, let’s do this! I CAN Enter and Stand Before the Lord by Receiving Heaven, HERE
… When I “…Ascribe greatness to our God!” (Deut. 32:3), it is easier to turn, and I open my heart to receive God’s presence and kingdom coming down around me here. I am embracing the truth that “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights…” (James 1:17). Heart, treasure and enjoy that there is more glory in being here before the Lord than the greatest earthly glory I could ever see, touch, hear, taste, or long for: “Lord, I love the habitation of Your house and the place where Your glory dwells” (Psa. 26 8). (pause to believe it)
…I am confident about experiencing Your presence intensely because IT IS WRITTEN: “will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the Lord” (Jer. 31:14; see also Exo. 31:18- 3). Lord, I love that You are the God of the armies of Heaven! (pause to love the truth!)
…I don’t have to quench my thirst by what I work for and achieve: God is not selfish like people. He doesn’t hold back. (pause to let yourself feel confident and be reassured by God’s presence!)
…I humble myself from believing I have to deserve the Holy Spirit somehow: God has made a way for me. (pause to enjoy confidence and reassurance from trusting that God’s presence is here!)
…My humanity doesn’t need to have glory in order to receive God’s presence. God is always a fountain in whose radiance I can take refuge. Heart, “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light” (Psa. 36:7-9).
…Heart, the presence of God helps is the light I can put on as armor that helps me stay pure (Rom. 13:12, 14) and live “uprightly.” I am telling my heart to treasure that “…the Lord God is a sun and shield; / The Lord gives grace and glory; / No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Ps. 84:11). And, heart, because God “gives grace and glory” He never stops pouring out His Holy Spirit’s presence (John 7:39). He is always gracious to draw near to those who want to be near Him. (pause to hear, believe, and love it as the truth!)
…I will not fear because my faith is in Je us. He paid the price and made the way for me to enter and stay before the Father: “Jesus said…no one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6);” “…we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3:12); “…through Him we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2: 8). And, the Kingdom of God is HERE because my refuge of power is the presence of God and “He who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13). (pause to love it)

…I don’t have to be afraid of not having “one enough” to deserve God’s kingdom coming to me here. I just have to humble myself from pride and self-protection enough to believe the truth in His Word. Heart, the more I direct my heart into faith about receiving the kingdom of Heaven and drinking from God, the more the verse comes true where God says, “I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will…set My sanctuary in their midst forever. My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people. And the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever” (Eze. 37:26-28).
…Heart, IT IS WRITTEN that I should “…be diligent to enter God’s rest…” (Heb. 4: 1). So, I rest into a confident faith about entering and abiding in the presence of God before Him. I set my heart on believing and enjoying that the kingdom of God is coming and is all around me here. It says to “…cling to Him” (Deut. 13 4). So I “cling” to the kingdom of God around me here by resting the weight of my entire being, like when I have to hold onto a coat around me in a wind storm, by letting the pockets support the weight of my hands and arms. I am setting my heart to love and enjoy believing that the Holy Spirit is INTENSELY present because of the power of the radiance that thunders onto me from the fountain of God.
…I don’t have to understand it all, but I am determined to trust God to carry me near to Himself; “Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. The Lord alone guided him, And there was no foreign god with Him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he ate the produce of the field; And He made him suck honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock” (Deut. 32:11- 3). (pause to hear, believe, and love the truth!)
…I am listening when I say this and I submit to the truth of the Scriptures and am joyfully telling my heart to believe that these verses apply directly to me: “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth…I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert…To give drink to My chosen people. The people whom I formed for Myself, will declare My praise” (Isa. 43:18-21).
…I am confident enough to let myself open up and receive the radiance around God: “…you will rejoice in the Lord, you will glory in the Holy One of Israel. The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst; I, the Lord, will answer them Myself, as the God of Israel I will not forsake them. I will open rivers on the bare heights and springs in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land fountains of water” (Isa. 41:16-18); And, IT IS WRITTEN that “…I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants; and they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water” (Isa. 44:3 4). (pause to believe and love the God who is close!)

…Heart, I can “…draw near…in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean…and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19, 22). So then, “…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29:11).
…I am confident that I don’t have to be afraid because the goodness of God and His grace won’t let Him hold back! I am absolutely sure because IT IS WRITTEN: “Ho! 55:1,2). (pause to feel reassured by treasuring these truths!)
…I am fully convinced about my being able to trade earthly glories for the glory of God’s presence. It is a simple trade because IT IS WRITTEN that I should “…glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh” (Phil. 3:3); “glory in His holy name; let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad” (1 Chron. 16: 0). “…the nations will bless themselves in Him, and in Him they will glory” (Jer. 4:2).
…I love that I don’t have to be afraid to draw near: “…the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out” (John 6:37); “…none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.” (Psa. 34:22); “do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32); And, “…the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power” (1Co 4:20); So, trust by faith you have “…come to the waters…[and] delight yourself in abundance.” (Isa. 55:1,2). (pause to hear, believe, and love it as the truth!)

(pause to enjoy confidence and reassurance from trusting that God’s presence is coming and is here!)
…I am confident in the truth of the Bible that I can enter and rest before the Lord here (Heb. 10:19-22). I set my heart on showing gratitude and being playfully confident that the kingdom of Heaven is coming down upon and around me here (Heb. 12:22-24, 28; James 1:17). Heart, treasure that I am in the radiance of God and am opening myself up to the Holy Spirit of God pouring out from all around Him (John 7:39).
…By active faith in the radiance of God upon me, I CAN walk in the Light, have fellowship with God, and be cleansed from all sin, by the blood of Christ (1 John 1:5, 7). Heart, treasure these truths with delight (Isa. 55:1-2) because “…all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you” (Mark 11:24).
MORE
…Heart, Jesus Christ is my savior, AND I trust Him to wash my body as I trust with faith I am entering the Holy Place by His draw near (Heb. 10:19-22). Heart, Jesus is righteousness in me by salvation (2 Cor. 5:21) and by this, God is sanctification for my spirit (1 Thess. 5:23). By the nearness of God upon and all around me, He is sanctifying my physical body here (1 Thess. 5:23). So, it is right for me to say with joy, “…the Lord is [my] righteousness” (Jer. 33:16), because Jesus lives in me AND because God washes my body holy as I draw near!
…I am confident that God’s Word is true! “Let us go into His dwelling place; let us worship at His footstool” (Psa. 132 7). Heart, be thrilled to stand before the Lord of hosts! (pause to love the truth!)
…Heart, I get to drink from God and be “satisfied” by the nearness of His power and glory when I believe with confidence that I am inside the sanctuary of God (Ps. 63:1-2, 5) and that He in all His radiant glory and power, is before me here.
…I am confident about standing before God because He says, “Heaven is My throne and the earth is my footstool…” (Isa. 66:1); “…the earth…is the footstool of His feet…” (Mat. 5: 5). So, heart, when I trust with gratitude that I am recieving the kingdom of Heaven (Heb. 12:22-24, 28) like a child (Mark 10:15), it is right for me to apply active faith that Jesus is walking with me here (2 Cor. 6:16); it is like when “…the Lord said to Moses, ‘…Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb…’” (Exo. 17:5,6).
…The kingdom of God is here because I am commanded: “exalt the Lord our God and worship at His footstool…” (Psa. 99 5). The Kingdom of God is HERE because my refuge of strength is the presence of God, and “We who takes refuge in Me…will possess My holy mountain” (Isa. 57:13). (pause to enjoy it!)
…I submit to the truth; I rest into believing that God brings the kingdom here because “…the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)” (Rom. 10:6 8). “My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God…” (Ezek. 37:27); “…I will make My dwelling among you…I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people” (Lev 26:11-12).
…Thank You, God, that Your Word is true and that it is right for me to believe these things are actually happening! (pause to treasure these truths and love the God who is close!)
…I don’t have to agree with the disbelief of religious people around me. Heart, it is right to live by faith in God. Lord, God. Because God wants to be our God, I love that I can so freely draw near and drink. (pause to believe it)
…I can ignore pressure from religious people who want to protect themselves by making me feel like I shouldn’t go outside their religious boundaries. (pause to hear, believe, and love it as the truth!)
MORE
…I don’t have to agree with religious people who glorify their spirituality and make the presence of God a thing others should try to achieve or earn. Lord God, I love that I can trust I am before You, and it happens.
…I repent of trying to decide if I deserve to enter. I reject pressure from religious people who boast how special they are and shut me off from God. Jesus died so that “…through Him we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2: 8). Instead of holding back, I set my heart to rest into believing where it says, “draw near to God and He will draw near to you…” (James 4:8). (let yourself feel confident and be reassured by God’s presence!)
…I am confident about my access before God because my faith is in Je us. He paid the price and made the way for me to enter and stay before the Father: “Jesus said…no one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6); “…we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Eph. 3:12); “…through Him we…have our access in one Spirit to the Father” (Eph. 2:18). (pause to hear, believe, and love the truth!)
…I love that I can drink because of drawing near to the radiance around You, Lord Jesus: “the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God…on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man…and there was a radiance around Him. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance…” (Ezek. 1:1 and 26-27); “…and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance” (Rev. 4 3). (pause to hear and love it)
…I am convincing myself to rest into opening up to God so I can freely receive His presence by faith that I am receiving, and without hesitation or fear: “…we…receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Gal 3:14); “…it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all…” (Rom. 4:16). (pause to feel confident from it!)
…Because it says, “…you…are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit” (Eph. 2: 2), I am telling myself to be confident about being able to receive enough of God’s presence for me to be His dwelling place. Heart, “You …A city…” (Matt. 5:14); and, “There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, / The holy dwelling places of the Most High” (Psalm 46:4). Thank You God for the good plans You have for me to become one of Your holy “dwelling places!”
…I am confident that God will give me enough of the Spirit for Him to become my strength: “Thus says the Lord, ‘cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert…But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness… Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit’” (Jer. 17:5-8; see also Isa. 12:2,3). (pause to hear, believe, and love it as the truth!)
MORE
…I am determined to please God. Therefore, I MUST believe that God will reward me with His presence. If I refuse to believe it then it isn’t pleasing to God because “…without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe…that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Heb. 11:6).
…I am confident about my access being by grace because, “…did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?” (Gal. 3:2 3). “But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace” (Rom. 11 6). (pause to hear, believe, and love the God who is close!)
…I am confident and secure about God because I can playfully “…receive the kingdom of God like a child…” (Luke 18:17); “…the children of men take refuge…You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life…” (Psa. 36:7-9); “…His Son…He is the radiance of [the Father’s glory…” (Heb. 1:2,3; “radiance’’= outshining, like a light gives off light or effulgence, like the mouth of a river gives water); “…the fountain of living water, even the Lord” (Jer. 17:13). (pause to hear, believe, and love the truth!)
…I confidently trust that I am entering and am before God. I rest inside the radiance around Him, and I open myself to God. It is my right to drink freely from God because “…on…the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, “’ From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ But this He spoke of the Spirit…” (John 7:37-39); “I, the Lord, am your God…Open your mouth wide and I will fill it” (Psa. 81:10). “There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High” (Ps. 46 9). And heart, God has made you the city of God, one of His holy dwelling places of the Most High.
…IT IS WRITTEN that I should “…be diligent to enter God’s rest…” (Heb. 4: 1). So, I rest into a confident faith about entering and staying before the Lord, and I am turning my heart to believe the kingdom of God to be all around me here. It also says to “…cling to Him” (Deut. 13 4). So I “cling” to the kingdom of God around me here by resting the weight of my entire being, like when holding a coat onto me in a wind storm, by letting the pockets support the weight of my hands and a ms. And, (Your Name), “…do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers…” (2 Chron. 29:11).
…I am telling myself to believe that the Holy Spirit is coming to me and is INTENSELY present because of the power of the radiance that thunders onto me from the fountain of God. (pause to enjoy the kingdom of heaven all around you here! Heart, God is here, angels are all around!)
…I am listening as I say, I “…have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…[I will] draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:19, 22). (pause to hear, believe, and love it as the truth!)

…Heart, let yourself believe that I am near to the fountain of God and that God is here. By faith in the strength of the radiance around God, I am telling my heart to believe with delight that God is shining His presence onto me here. And His Spirit is INTENSELY present because of the power of the radiance that thunders from the fountain of God.
…I love that I don’t have to be afraid to draw near: “…the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out” (John 6:37); “…none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned” (Psa. 34:22); “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32); And, “…the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power” (1Co 4:20); So, “…come to the waters…delight yourself in abundance” (Isa. 55:1-2).

NEW BOOK
Barry Hall’s first book,
Receiving God’s Kingdom by Joyful Repentance, will help you to recognize the practical evidence of how we try to fill our need for God’s presence and kingdom with what we get from worldly substitutions, other
people, sinful behaviors, and ourselves. It explains that in doing this, we receive pride that we put on like a coat around us for identity. Without realizing it, we put faith in our pride and try to abide inside it for
protection, strength, and worth instead of receiving God’s kingdom and presence as needed. This book also explains repentance as a joyous process that changes our minds one step after another as we listen to ourselves,
making bold and joyous declarations of repentance and faith.
